Bowie was the first product from the Swedish success designers MÃ¥rten Claesson, Ola Rune and Eero Koivisto. It was also the very first product from David design which was one of the most important cornerstones for success of the New Nordic Style in end of 1990:s. Today is Bowie an iconic piece of art and is represented at the most international interiors all over the world.
About David Design
David Design was found in 1988 by David Carlson, a Swedish design entrepreneur who still is iconic for design. In late 1998-1999 David design was the first brand who introduced the “new-nordic” style. In late 2011, Claesson Koivisto Rune became Art Director of the company. Production is nearly 100% in Sweden which secure the quality of the products. Different to many Scandinavian companies, they take care of the environment and their people by the regulation they have. All products are designed and manufactured to meet contract use.
